Tim Cornell founded Planned Ascent in 2015 to help entrepreneurs build scalable businesses.
He has built a business himself. With his co-founders, Tim grew a retail technology start-up onto three continents before exiting four years later.
In addition, Tim was on the UK and Ireland leadership team at Dunnhumby, the retail customer-insights consultancy behind the Tesco Clubcard. He also spent ten years on the board of a marketing services agency.
In the course of these varied experiences, Tim has climbed a great many learning curves that now inform his work.
As a business and executive coach, Tim has worked with entrepreneurs, leaders, managers and teams in diverse businesses and sectors. These include consumer technology, marketing services, residential property, financial services, motor and outsourcing. Tim has coached executives up to and including C-suite roles in FTSE-100 companies.
Building Better Businesses
Tim holds a strong belief in the importance of small and medium-sized businesses to society. It is this belief that fuels his genuine determination to help entrepreneurs build scalable businesses. Whilst business and executive coaching can be challenging, it can equally release new energy and motivation as clients accelerate their progress towards the outcomes they want.
Growing any business to a successful outcome needs a varied set of skills, insights, resources, and luck! One size doesn’t fit all, which explains why Planned Ascent offers a tailor-made blend of business coaching, consulting and support services. Where appropriate, he also connects clients to trusted contacts with specialist skills.
Tim is an Accredited Coach of Excellence – Expert Status, with the Professional Development Consortium. He also holds an internationally accredited diploma in Advanced Executive Coaching (AoEC); is a Master Practitioner in NLP; and a Certified PROPHET Practitioner.
